Alex Nibley is a screenwriter, actor and Professional in Residence at Utah Valley University, where he teaches screenwriting. A script Alex co-wrote, Bright Path: The Jim Thorpe Story, is currently being produced by Angelina Jolie.
Alex is known internationally as one of the leading teachers of Film Analysis as taught by legendary film educator Frank Daniel, and has he been invited to appear on numerous panels on screenwriting in America and Europe. He is Executive Director of the Frank Daniel Center for Media and Storytelling, and his book Good Stories Well Told Volume I: Principles of Film Analysis is used as a textbook in teaching the Daniel approach to analyzing the psychological impact of movies.
