SYNOPSIS: Miners are forced to take a professor underground with them, to take samples for his measurements. After a landslide prevents them from going back up, they discover a crypt from another time, unknowingly waking up a bloodthirsty creature.

DIRECTOR’S BIO: Born in Cannes (France), Mathieu Turi directs his first feature HOSTILE in 2018, and got selected in many festivals around the world (Sitges, Frighfest, Fantaspoa…). His second feature, MEANDER, released in 2021, gets even more attention, being a great success in France, and winning many prizes in festivals (Trieste, Nightmares FF, Lusca, Sitges…). In 2023, his third movie THE DEEP DARK will have its world premiere in Austin Fantastic Fest, and will be attending prestigious festivals like Screamfest, Sitges, Trieste, and many more to come.
