Jesseca Ynez Simmons is a filmmaker whose work lives at the intersection of the invisible and the visceral, compelling into view what power would prefer to keep hidden. With screenings at festivals such as Hot Docs, the Austin Film Festival, and IDFA, her films move from experimental to documentary to horror, using form as a catalyst for revelation.
