DIRECTOR’S BIO: Ryuhei Kitamura is a Japanese film director, producer, and screenwriter from Osaka. Known for his stylized action and horror films, he began his career after moving to Australia at age 17 to study visual arts, where his short film Exit won him an award. He is known for directing films like Versus (2000), Azumi (2003), Godzilla: Final Wars (2004), and The Midnight Meat Train (2008).
