SYNOPSIS: Three deserter soldiers from the Paraguayan War in 1870, struggling to survive as they cross a desolate border region, stumble upon an isolated house inhabited only by a mysterious farmer and a silent young woman. As night falls, the soldiers realize they may have escaped the horrors of war only to step into something far more sinister.

DIRECTOR’S BIO: Ian began his career with the short The Cub Scout Never Lies. He went on to co-create the YouTube comedy channel Backdoor. He wrote and directed the features Among Bees (2015) and Ciclo (2022), and also created, wrote, and directed the series The Great Gonzalez for Fox, among other TV shows. In 2023, he launched the animated series Society of Virtue (Adult Swim/MAX).
