David most recently directed and produced “Funny How?” for VICELAND, a series about the behind the scenes world of professional comedians. “Be My Guest” is his first narrative short film as a director.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Jermaine Yuen decided to pursue a career in film-making after completing his Bachelor of Arts in 2014. He soon found his passion in directing after working on his first short, Abyss, a dark fantasy which he successfully pitched during his Diploma year. Jermaine has also acquired a keen eye as a production designer, creating detailed worlds for various productions.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Joonas Allonen (1981) is a Finnish screenwriter-director. He graduated from Turku Arts Academy in 2006, and has since been working as a writer and director in TV, theatre, commercials and short films. Antti Laakso (1982) is Finnish film director. He graduated from Turku Arts Academy’s animation department in 2008. He has written, directed and animated several award-winning short films and works in commercials and as a digital FX artist. Laakso also teaches stop-motion in Turku Arts Academy.
