SYNOPSIS: A delirious fable about Rena, an enslaved ordinary frog who becomes a liberator. DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Santiago Castaño grew up in Bogotá, Colombia. He moved to New York in 2003 after being awarded a grant for a masters degree in computer animation at The School of Visual Arts. This provided work opportunities that include creative direction, 3d animation and storyboard design for clients such as Cannon, Sundance Channel, ESPN, Nicktoons, Lifetime, Versus, CBS, TV Land, Mercury Ford, Sprint, AT&T, MLB Networks, the video game God of War amongst others. In 2013 Santiago was awarded a Graphic Designer Emmy for for the show package MLB Tonight. in 2014 he was nominated for a second Emmy for his MLB Network’s promo: Monuments were he was creative director. In 2017 Santiago founded Lenticular Pictures with the purpose of producing original animated content. He currently lives and works in New York City.
