He has written for IO West comedy theater and multiple national publications. He wrote and directed the promotional trailer “Do You Hear Something” for film trailer industry staple Sencit Music. This is his first film.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Joe is a writer and a director living in Los Angeles. A Kansas native, he traded wheat fields for palm trees and has never looked back (except during the college basketball season). His first short ‘The Morning After’ earned him a place in the American’ Pavilion’s Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017. Joe recently wrote for the TNT drama ‘The Librarians’, co-wrote ‘Something Blue’ for Black Label Media, and adapted ‘Serpent’s Bite’, starring Anna Camp, for Grey Eagle Films. Joe himself is an alum of The Groundlings’ “Sunday Company”, a student of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and a sometimes chili chef.

While there, he marketed/developed projects by Oscar-nominated screenwriter Jose Rivera (The Motorcycle Diaries, On the Road) and Oxford Literary Award winning novelist Donald Harrington (With), among others.

Her feature screenplay The Sound of Settling was a Graduate Screenplay Finalist at the Fusion Film Festival.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Nicholas is an actor, filmmaker and illustrator from Perth, Australia. In 2008 he completed a BA in Multimedia Design at Curtin University, focusing on animation, graphic design and illustration. Realising he didn’t have the patience to be an animator he decided to pursue acting and was accepted into the BA Dramatic Art (Acting) at NIDA, graduating in 2013. Highlights there included playing the role of Iago in Othello and Betty in Caryl Chuchill’s Cloud 9. Since graduating he has appeared on stage in a variety of works ranging from children’s theatre, to opera and short films. Notably, in 2016 he toured Australia with a new theatrical adaptation of the beloved Australian children’s classic Snugglepot & Cuddlepie.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Sanne Kortooms (‘s-Hertogenbosch, 1985) is a Dutch director, writer and filmmaker. In 2010 she graduated from the HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht, the Netherlands (Master of Arts, with honors), with two films and a thesis. Her film The Blue Bus has been screened at many film festivals around the world and has won several awards, including Best Student Film at the Cambridge International Student Film Festival and the Audience Award at the NTR New Arrivals.
After finishing film school, she directed another short film (Verbonden), worked as an assistant director, unit production manager and script supervisor at different movie sets. In the summer of 2016, Sanne went to France to shoot her latest film, To Catch a Fly.
