From 1,252 submissions for the 2015 season, the following list is the winners and nominees, including the secret nominees, in each category for FilmQuest. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees, and all the Official Selections, for you achievements and for making great genre cinema. Four secret nominees were the winners of their respective categories in 2015, and voting was neck and neck in nearly every category. Best of Fest was decided by the overall scores that the films received in the voting process. We hope that your nominations and wins prove to be helpful to you in your festival and filmmaking journeys, and remember, the Quest for Cthulhu has already begun for 2016!

NOTE: In order for a category winner to receive a FilmQuest Cthulhu Trophy, the category must have 8 nominees. If not, the winners of that category will receive a high-quality plaque (unless otherwise noted). Since we decided to add a few categories last minute (the awards for Best Director – Short, Best Actors – Short, etc.), we were not able to produce Cthulhu’s for these categories. The winners of these categories will receive a high-quality plaque, and we will provide them with a way to get a Cthulhu is they desire. We ARE working diligently to get a Cthulhu for the Short categories, so don’t fret!
