I was eventually diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, hypermobility/Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s, and more after 2+ years of begging for help and being dismissed, all while my health declined and I became disabled. She produced her first feature while attending the graduate film program at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. She is the writer and creator of a 6-part mystery mini-series acquired by Alibaba/Youku. Outside of film and TV, Trinity writes and creates content for the popular plant blog Cube House Jungle and has been featured in Apartment Therapy, The Spruce, and Domino Magazine. She is currently developing a dark comedy feature based on the elusive plant community and her experiences as a plant-fluencer.

RUIN ME won the 2017 iHorror Award for Excellence in Horror. With writing partner Preston DeFrancis, Trysta co-wrote THE BIG PRODUCTION, which received a Student Emmy. Their thriller script A TEACHER’S OBSESSION was produced by Mar Vista Entertainment and aired on Lifetime. They are currently writing horror-thriller AFTER THE SUMMER, which they plan to film in 2020. Trysta’s feature animation script PONY AT LARGE was an Academy Nicholl Fellowships semi-finalist.
