DIRECTOR’S BIO: Stephanie Paris is a Los Angeles based Director/Producer. Since beginning her career working as a camera assistant on low budget horror films, she has quickly worked her way up towards a more owner/author position in the mediums of both cinema and new media content. In 2022 she directed a Netflix after show series for Kevin Smith to promote the new series “Masters Of The Universe.”
She directed her first feature “Portraits” in 2019. Stephanie also produced the feature-length film ”That Guy Dick Miller”, which had it’s world premiere at SXSW 2014. As well as “Easter,” a segment in the anthology feature, “Holidays,” that premiered at TIFF 2016. She continues to produce television and web commercials and promos for clients such as Google, Sony, Disney, Fox, Redbull, Netflix, Zagat, & HGTV. Stephanie’s love for the horror genre has also resulted in producing and shooting numerous DVD/Blu-ray bonus features for such diverse filmmakers as David Cronenberg, Jack Hill, Kinji Fukasaku, Pete Walker, Ted V. Mikels, John Carpenter, Joe Dante, Roger Corman and many more.

It screened at over 85 film festivals across the world including HollyShorts and New Filmmakers LA, and garnered her multiple awards for Best Director, Best Female Filmmaker, Best Genre Filmmaker, Best Writing in a Short, Best Horror Short, and Best Actress and others at top genre festivals such as FilmQuest, Nightmares Film Festival, GenreBlast, and others.
