DIRECTOR’S BIO: Joshua Boon (The Netherlands) is a versatile writer/director known for his work across shorts, animations, and scripts. He created the acclaimed sci-fi comic Krank (krankcomic.nl) and received recognition for his music in national and international publications. Boon also produced a cartoon featuring voices from Boom Chicago actors (alumni include Seth Meyers, Jordan Peele, and Jason Sudeikis) and Michael Robles (Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon). Collaborating with industry figures like producer Errol Nayci (“Hoogvliegers”) and writer/producer Ruud den Drijver (“Lijmen/Het Been”), Boon honed his skills, further developed during a production internship at HALAL.Amsterdam.

DIRECTOR’S BIO: David Tappan is an award-winning director who’s work spans the commercial, music video, documentary, and narrative film worlds. Tappan co-founded level 11 films with his sister and writing partner, Kelly Tappan. Their inventive aesthetic combines high-concept, genre-bending story telling with raw emotion, a hypnotic visual style, and nuanced characters. Universe 25 is their flagship project, and they have several other films in development, including the feature adaptation of Universe 25.

She is a veteran video game director and recently worked on the official Dungeon’s & Dragons video game Baldur’s Gate III (AAA game) which won three BAFTAs in this years’ Awards, including Best Game.
