SYNOPSIS: A 12-year-old girl struggles with life on the run as she travels across the country with her father who has Tourette Syndrome. Wanting nothing more than a normal family life, she befriends a community of outcasts in the remote countryside who want to harness a volatile supernatural power her father is hiding.

DIRECTOR’S BIO: Ryan’s debut feature, Son of the Sunshine (Slamdance, Netflix, HBO), was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award. His follow-up, Daughter of the Sun (Berlinale, Fantaspoa Best Actor) won an Audience Award at Fantasia where it premiered. As an actor, Ryan originated the lead role of Ash in Evil Dead: The Musical, earning a Dora nomination for Best Actor after over 800 performances. He is currently in post-production on the limited series The Aquanaut & the Shipwreck.
