DIRECTOR’S BIO: Natasha Halevi is an award-winning director and actress recognized for her female focused work. Her 2019 all-female short “Beauty Juice” won the Atlanta Horror Film Festival Audience Choice Award and screened internationally, and in 2020, her sci-fi micro-series “After Ray” premiered at the Philip K. Dick Film Festival. Her webseries “Lunch Break Feminist Club” won Best Series and Best Ensemble Cast from HVFF in 2015. As an actress, Halevi has been a featured guest at San Diego ComicCon, Dragoncon and Stan Lee’s Comic-Con for her role in Troma’s “B.C. Butcher” and appeared on panels for the film and women in horror. She is a FilmQuest alumni and shares the Director’s Award for Cinematic Achievement with Fatale Collective.

DIRECTOR’S BIO: Bradley Stryker’s feature film debut, LAND OF SMILES, took the International film festival circuit by storm on its way to becoming a 35x Award-Winning film. The film, the screenplay, and his direction received acclaim, including the London Film Awards, the American Film Awards, Los Angeles Film Review, and the Toronto Independent Film Awards. His brand of storytelling has been said to be “Emotionally raw” and “Unnervingly honest, subtle, and terrifying.”

DIRECTOR’S BIO: Paul Krysinski and Brodie Spaull have gone from a couple of kids shooting movies in rural Ontario, to professionals of physical special effects in Toronto. Their technical knowledge and yearning for a creative outlet is what led to the creation of their web series Dark Before Dawn. While it makes the festival rounds, Paul and Brodie are hard at work writing original feature scripts, and future DBD content.

DIRECTOR’S BIO: Sylvia Ray is an award winning director, writer, and co-founder of VKTRY Creative Studios. She has been selected for HBO’s and Hola Mexico Film Festival’s Tomorrow’s Filmmakers Today program. She has also worked creatively with clients such as Magnopus, Disney, and Disney-Pixar. She is an active member of the selective Women in Film’s Insight group and Alliance of Women Directors’ InSalon group. She currently has two short films, Len(n)y and A Period Piece, screening at film festivals country wide. ——– Migrating from Oklahoma, Antoine recently graduated from the University of Southern California. Since college he has forged a career in entertainment as a working film and tv actor. Recently, he has turned his creative attention toward content creation. Though his experiences as an Afro-latino queer male has made him acutely aware of the systemic challenges the “others” in society face, as a content creator he seeks to show the commonality that tie us together, bridging the many differentiating aspects that often segregate our lives.

DIRECTOR’S BIO: Over and Out sees Connor Van Vuuren directing his brother, sister in law, niece and nephew. After the viral web success of Bondi Hipsters, the Van Vuuren brothers have acquired an impressive collection of credits. In 2013 the both featured as directors on ABC’s The Elegant Gentleman’s Guide to Knife Fighting, and moved on to create and direct ABC2’s multi-platform comedy series Soul Mates in 2014. The second series of Soul Mates earned the pair an ADG Award nomination for Best Direction in a TV or SVOD Comedy Program. In 2017, the boys co-directed Squinters and Sando, are currently in development for a US series adaptation of 2012 telemovie ‘SICK’ and are set to co-direct comedy-horror ‘Croak’, produced by Jungle and Midwinter Films.

DIRECTOR’SBIO: Sydney Sleuthers had a total of seven directors on the project because the Series Producers wanted to extend the opportunity of working on a competition winning web series to other emerging directors. The team, consisting of Joanna Beveridge, Nicole Delprado, Ivy Mak, Rochelle Reynolds, Josh Mawer, Mukul Kandara and the late Carle Bellomarino, has received numerous awards and nominations for the web series and worked closely together to achieve the look of the series.

She’s currently enjoying a stint as a true crime writer for the Spotify podcast “Espionage.” As a director, Katie’s work on her web series THE INFLUENCERS has been recognized by the 2020 Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, Seattle True Independent Film Festival, and the New Jersey Web Fest.
