Thank you for visiting our Sponsorship Levels information page! As a 501c3 non-profit organization, we rely on grants, public and community sponsor donations, and private contributions to keep our festival operational and thriving. The festival makes a huge economic impact to our host city and state of Provo, Utah, growing significantly with each season.
This growth not only drives a healthy economy, but introduces our out of town filmmakers to our incredible city and beautiful state. We bring together an ever growing diverse, inclusive, and global audience who celebrate their love for art and genre cinema, and we are excited to share our story and growth with you, our community and business leaders, who share in this passion for the cinematic arts.

We are grateful for any and all support and below we have outlined the contribution levels and the in-kind opportunities we offer at each tier. Please note that nearly all our levels are customizable and can be catered to your needs! Most importantly, your support is tax-deductible as we are a registered 501c3 non-profit.

- Full Page Ad in Festival Program Guide
- Green Room Sponsor with Marketing Assets Created and Placed in Space for Entire Duration of Festival and Approved Physical Assets to give Filmmakers Throughout Festival
- Up to 30 Second Commercial (content will need to be approved) Advertising your Brand played prior to Every Screening Block of the Festival (over 30 placements)
- Formal Thank You at Start of Every Q&A
- Additional 4 Sponsor All Access Plus Passes (10 total) to Festival for Contributing Year (transferable)
- 30 Minute Dedicated Slot with Staff Photographer in “Bird Cage” Room for Professional Photography Session at Festival (up to 10 people)
- 30 Minute Dedicated Slot on Red Carpet with Staff Photographer (up to 10 people)
DIRECTOR – MONETARY CONTRIBUTION – $10,000
- 45 Minute Programming Slot to Host an Approved Workshop or Educational Panel on your Brand or Products, or as the Exclusive Sponsor of an Existing Workshop (needs to be film, entertainment, and/or technology related)
- Premium Plaque Awards to Include your Logo as “Sponsored By”
- Creation of Special Award in a Chosen Category with Exclusive Sponsorship from your Brand & High Quality Backpack with your Logo given to Winner along with Plaque
- Opportunity to Introduce up to 3 Film Blocks and Moderate a Film Panel or Q&A
- 5 Additional Sponsor All Access Plus Passes (15 total) to Festival for Contributing Year (transferable)
- 15 minute Dedicated Video Interview Promoting yourself and/or Brand and why you are a Patron of FilmQuest and Cinema Arts (up to 5 people)
- Dinner with Festival Director, Assistant Director and Deputy Director
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER – MONETARY CONTRIBUTION – $20,000
- Creation of an Exclusive, Premium item (reusable water bottle, socks, notebook, etc…) with your Logo, Included in all Swag Bags
- Vinyl “Walk of Fame” Printed Decal for your Brand Placed on Walkways Leading to the Venue.
- Your Brand Advertisement on an Oversized Outdoor Popup Schedule Banner within the City and near the Venue.
- Brand/Company Name as a “Presenting Sponsor” on the Select Nameplates of the Prestigious Cthulhu Trophy Award.
- 5 Additional Sponsor All Access Plus passes (20 total) to Festival for Contributing Year (transferable)
CTHULHU – MONETARY CONTRIBUTION – $50K +
*We will entertain any idea you present that are reasonable at this level of sponsorship! Listed below are a few (of many) ideas that may appeal to you and/or your organization:
- Exclusive Sponsor of a Celebrity Writer’s or Director’s Weekend Workshop
- Exclusive Sponsor of our Annual Alumni Holiday Party or Newcomer’s Summer BBQ
- Exclusive Sponsor & Co-Host of a 2 hour Festival Podcast/Live Facebook Feed, Featuring Interviews with Directors, Writers and Attending Celebrities & VIP Guests
- Consideration of Honorary Membership to our Board of Directors
- Exclusive Sponsor & Presenter of the Cthulhu Trophy for our prestigious “Legacy Award”, given to an Artist or Filmmaker who have made Cinematic History and Support Independent Cinema
- Patron of the Festival who can potentially have Honors and Events named after you and/or your Organization
PRODUCTS, SERVICES & SWAG
We appreciate and value physical product donations that enhance our workshops, parties, and events to help create a truly immersive cinematic and festive experience at FilmQuest. We can offer “in-kind” customizable perk options as a token of our appreciation for your donated goods and services, depending on the value of your service or goods. We also encourage discount offers for film rental equipment and gear, which encourages filmmaking in Utah and stimulates the film industry in our state.
Do you have some “swag” you want to include in our exclusive Swag Bag to promote your brand? If your product is approved, a commitment of 250 pieces minimum (preference is 300 minimum) with delivery of the pieces at least one week prior to our festival start date.
RESTAURANTS, FOOD & ENTERTAINMENT
Want to host one of our parties with a special promotion and/or entertainment event? Want to offer our guests and VIP pass holders special discounts on food and meals at your establishment to encourage business and foot traffic?
We’ve built relationships with many restaurants, event spaces, and entertainment establishments that have raised the awareness of local businesses and boosted economic impact during our festival.
