MISSION STATEMENT
FilmQuest is a festival of the Fantastic founded by filmmakers, for filmmakers. It is our goal to bring you an experience unlike any other that not only rewards but advances your career as a filmmaker and an artist. It is our intention that FilmQuest helps lay a foundation for new and upcoming filmmakers, furthers the careers of more established professionals, inspires its patrons, and is a welcoming home for filmmakers for years to come. The festival engages its community with yearly events that provide further opportunities and connections for its alumni and incoming filmmakers.
We believe in cultivating the talents and successes of our alumni, and involved them with our jurying of awards, while also helping secure distribution deals for their films, press, career progression, and more. FilmQuest is a family, and we believe all should be included.
