2016 CELEBRITY GRAND JURY
As we move closer towards the 2016 FilmQuest Festival, we’ll be announcing more names and participants for our celebrity Grand Jury, so check back often to see who’ll be judging our nominees come June!
DOUG JONES – The Immortal One. There is perhaps no greater living creature performer alive today (and perhaps ever) than Doug Jones himself. He has brought to life such timeless characters as Billy Butcherson in Hocus Pocus, Abe Sapien in the Hellboy movies, Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four, and the Fauna Pan in Pan’s Labyrinth. Always in high demand, and yet eternally gracious and giving, Doug Jones joins us again as a Juror for the 2015 Festival.
CARLEE BAKER – Scream Queen. Carlee is perhaps best known for her turn in the Sundance horror hit The Woman, yet she is still a familiar face in the indie horror world. Carlee can often be seen meeting her fans on the convention circuit, and is just as nice as she looks! She recently appeared in L.A. Slasher, and got her judging chops on as a part of the jury for the 2014 SITGES Film Festival.
AMRITA ACHARIA – Siren. Amrita is most known to North American audiences for her two season stint on Game of Thrones, where she was the Dothraki handmaiden to the Khaleesi. She would further wow film lovers with her performances in The Devil’s Double, Dead Snow 2, and I Am Yours, for which she was nominated for Best Actress at the Amanda Awards, Norway’s Oscars. The film was also Norway’s entry for Best Foreign Film at the 86th Oscars.
DAMEON CLARKE – Velvet Fog. Dameon is one of the most recognized voices in the world of animation and video games, having portrayed the infamous villain Cell in Dragonball Z, and the instant icon Handsome Jack in Borderlands 2 for which he won the VGA Award for Best Actor. He’s also been seen as a regular or guest star on 24, Supernatural, CSI, and several films, including A Scanner Darkly, How to be a Serial Killer, and more! Dameon returns to us for his 3rd year as a FilmQuest juror, and we can’t wait to see him back during the festival!
MISS UTAH USA TEALE MURDOCK – Belle. Continuing our tradition of bringing in the reigning Utah pageant queen, Teale follows up last year’s judge Nicol Powell by joining this year’s celebrity jury. Be sure to show her your support as she goes for the MISS USA crown this summer, and look towards meeting this talented and beautiful woman during the festival!

2015 CELEBRITY GRAND JURY
The 2015 Celebrity Grand Jury was made up of Doug Jones (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy) Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever, Stuck in the Middle), Dameon Clarke (Borderlands 2, Dragonball Z), Carlee Baker (The Woman), Daniel Logan (Star Wars: Attack of the Clones), and Christina Robinson (Dexter).

The 2014 Celebrity Grand Jury was made up of Doug Jones (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy). Amrita Acharia (Game of Thrones) and Dameon Clarke (Dragonball Z, Borderlands 2).
