SUBMITTING YOUR FILM
FilmQuest provides three ways to submit your film, all online. As we move forward technologically, we are also trying to be more Green. So less discs and packages, more online screeners! Read on for information on how to submit your film to FilmQuest, and what formats we screen in when a film is selected.
FILM FREEWAY SUBMISSION
FilmQuest very, very highly recommends you submit your film though the fantastic film submission system at FilmFreeway (www.filmfreeway.com) in which we are 100% exclusive with. FilmFreeway is our submission system service of choice. Through FilmFreeway, unlike other services, you can submit HD screeners, which we dig! Just click the image box to submit now via FilmFreeway, FilmQuest’s preferred submission system.
SUBMISSION FORMATS
FilmQuest only accepts DCP, Blu-ray, DVD, and .MOV files for submissions and screenings. We will not be able to screen HDCam’s. It is our goal to be as eco-friendly as possible with our festival.
You will provide us with a private link to your screener by which we can download and/or watch your film digitally. We will ONLY be screening films digitally, with the exception being submitted Blu-rays, DCP’s and DVDs.
SUBMISSION FEES
We are 100% exclusive to FilmFreeway, where you will find our lowest pricing for submission. We also highly recommend submitting early, as the earlier you submit, the cheaper it will cost. For further details on pricing, click on the link to FilmFreeway or find us on their website.
