The Atomic Dream won 22 awards with 34 nominations worldwide before being picked up for North American theatrical distribution in Fall 2022. Critics praised its blend of suspense and craftsmanship, with FlickFeast’s Calum Cooper writing “the performances and direction generate magnificent suspense, while the craftsmanship has a playfulness worthy ofThe Twilight Zone,” while The Independent Critic’s Richard Propes described it as “beautifully and vividly realized,” certifying it Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Unseen Films hailed it as “a film that gets under your skin.” Resurrektor earned 11 festival awards, including Best Horror Short at the New York Shorts International Film Festival, with Film Threat ranking it among their top short films of 2023 and calling it “outstanding.” Aulakh made his feature directorial debut with Autumn Lights, which premiered theatrically in North America as a New York Film Critics Series (NYFCS) Pick by Peter Travers. Karlak is an award-winning Mexican-American filmmaker whose high-concept narratives have been featured in over 45 festivals, earned a Student Academy Award nomination, and include the Ridley Scott-executive produced VR experience Alien: Covenant – In Utero. Greer brings over 15 years of experience as a senior concept artist and art director at Peter Jackson’s WETA, where his design work helped define iconic sci-fi worlds such as Avatar, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Blade Runner 2049, contributing to films that have collectively grossed over $7 billion globally. United by a shared ambition to craft cinematic worlds where speculative technology and emotional storytelling collide, the duo blends bold narrative depth with world-class visual design to push the boundaries of genre filmmaking. Jacqueline since made EUROPA, at Sony Pictures, produced by ETC@USC, where she helmed a large studio/student hybrid crew and brought together teams in Iceland, India, Japan and the US. The film is currently on the festival circuit and has won numerous awards, as well as recently being nominated for Best Sci-Fi and Best Effects at Oscar-Qualifying HollyShorts. Vasilisa Kuzmina is a young filmmaker and scriptwriter of Russian-Iranian descent based in United States. Vasilisa debuted as a film director with the web series “Alisa,” which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in 2020 in the Pilot Competition Program. “Nika” is her first feature film, which premiered at SXSW 2022 in the Narrative Feature Competition and won Special Jury Recognition for Breakthrough Perfomance. Vasilisa holds an MFA’s degree from the American Film Institute.
