Upon moving to LA after graduation, he dove headfirst into production. He worked on many indie films, primarily as a 2nd AD. His years behind the camera have afforded Kieran a more practical understanding of production that he uses to the benefit of his writing. To most people’s surprise, Kieran is half Paraguayan, speaks Spanish fluently, and lived in South America for a number of years.
DAVID OSORIO: Upon graduating from the MFA Program at the Film School at Florida State University, David co-wrote a horror screenplay with Eduardo Rodriguez titled SYMBIOSIS, which they sold to Miramax/Dimension. David later optioned another horror script called KAKUY to Cecil Chambers of Triumphant Pictures, also with Miramax/Dimension. Following this early collaboration, David partnered up with Kieran. Their first script, a dark comedy titled THE OUTCAST, was the Grand Prize winner of the American Screenwriting Competition. Not only do these two have a similar taste in the weird and fantastical and macabre, but also their shared Hispanic backgrounds and extensive travels infuse their stories with a very unique point of view and diversity of ideas.
