Composer David Rosen usually leaves it up to filmmakers to come up with ideas for his music videos but “Artificial” is an idea that came to him while making the song so he wrote it and the director helped get it ready for the screen.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Virginia native, Joyce Sherrí, stepped off a Greyhound bus at New York City’s Port Authority bus terminal on August 23, 2010. Armed with her passion for creative writing, Joyce hurled herself into the independent film capital of the world in pursuit of a career as a writer and director. The following year, Joyce was accepted into the Tisch Graduate Film program at New York University and in 2016 received an MFA in Filmmaking.

A man transfers his consciousness into a robot just prior to a nuclear attack. The robot then goes out in search of his lost love.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Clint has worked on many different film projects as a director, producer, screenwriter, editor, and actor. He has recently directed music videos for the bands Aesthetic Perfection, Mankind is Obsolete, Elias Black, and more. Clint’s first feature, the surrealistic horror film “Dry Blood,” (that he produced, wrote, and starred in) has proven a huge success, having accumulated 25 festival awards and 15 additional nominations. He currently has several other features on the horizon.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Raised in Oklahoma, filmmaker Eric McEver relocated to Tokyo during college to pursue a passion for Noh theatre. While working variously as an actor, translator, game developer, and animation producer, he developed an offbeat cinematic vision fusing the languages and idiosyncrasies of his two homes.
Between 2010 and 2012 he created The Sansaku, a bilingual, genre-fusing triptych of experimental films consisting of “Tutor,” “Buddha Bento,” and “Out There Somewhere.” He further honed his skills at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he wrote, produced, and directed shorts in Japan, Singapore, the United States, and China.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Born in Paris in 1986, Dominique Filhol is a French director who graduated from the ESRA Paris Cinema School in 2009. Passionate about science-fiction and exploring the mysteries of the world, he directed and produced in 2017 his first short film, The Nine Billion Names of God adapted from a short story by Arthur C. Clarke.
He writes his own scripts inspired by this research and makes investigative documentaries on “unexplained phenomenas.”
