DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Colin West is an award-winning writer, director, and producer from the Midwest now based in Los Angeles.His most recent short film, Here & Beyond, is currently on the festival circuit and has won Best Short Script, Best Actor, and Best Art Direction and has screened at festivals including Fantasia Film Festival and CINEQUEST. His previous short film We Were Not Made For This World, adapted from Eisner Award-winning cartoonist Paul Hornschemeier’s comic of the same name, was shown internationally at film festivals and was awarded a Vimeo Staff Pick. His short film The Long Slow Flight of the Ashbot, a science fiction short adapted from Ignatz Award-winning cartoonist Joel Priddy, won the best science fiction short at the Berlin Short Film Festival. His films have screened internationally on the festival circuit at festivals including Fantasia, CINEQUEST, The Chicago Underground Film Festival, Athens Film Festival, Boston Sci Fi Film Festival, MiSciFi, Berlin Short Film Festival, New Filmmakers LA, Midwest Weirdfest, Other Worlds, and Fantastic Planet, among many others, and have been featured on Billboard.com, io9.com, GeekTyrant.com, LaughingSquid.com, FilmShortage.com, and CNET.com.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Michele is an award-winning writer director. A London Film Academy 2010 graduate, Michele has written and directed numerous commercials, short films, and the indie feature film “Fat Cat”. Michele’s short films have been featured on publications such as EMPIRE Magazine and La Repubblica (Italy’s N.1 newspaper.) The feature film “Fat Cat” has been selected and awarded in over a dozen film festivals worldwide, spanning from Razor Reel Flanders Film Fest, to Berlin and New York Independent Film Festival. Michele has directed content for BBC and BAFTA TV and for brands such as Nike, P&G, Kiehl’s, FIAT, Campbell’s, Barilla and numerous others, including the United Nations. Michele has recently directed the official trailer for the largest Asian film festival in Europe, the Far East Film Festival 20th.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Henrik hails from Denmark where he started his career as a visual effects artist working in advertising. In 2008 he directed his first short film ‘E.T.A.’ which went on to win several awards including ‘Best Talent’ at Aarhus Film Festival. In 2011 he directed the satirical mockumentary ‘Born Again’ which picked up the ‘Best Short’ award at BUTFF in Amsterdam and was the ‘Runner Up’ at Born Shorts in Denmark. Since 2013 Henrik has divided his time between directing commercial projects for clients while developing and directing short and long form content through his own production company.

DIRECTOR’S / FILMMAKER’S BIO: Yorgos Zois is a Greek director based in Athens. He studied applied Math & Nuclear Physics at the NTUA and film direction in UdK Berlin with scholarship by Costa Gavras. He also worked as an assistant to Theo Angelopoulos in the film Dust of Time. His body of work has been acknowledged with over twenty-five awards and distinctions at numerous festivals worldwide (Cannes, Venice, Rotterdam, Telluride, Palm Springs, Clermont Ferrand among others). He was also nominated as best European film director from the European Film Academy for his film “Out of Frame” in 2012. In Greece he has has been awarded among others as best newcomer director from the Greek Film Academy for his film “Interruption” and has also won best film and best script for his film Casus Belli. Zois was also recently member of the Official Venice Jury “Lion of the Future” which awards the best debut film from all sections (Official Competition and parallel sections). His latest short called “Third Kind” premiered in Semaine de la Critique in Cannes Film Festival 2018 and now continues its festival journey all around the world.
